This is the afternoon website of Sweets of NY. Nothing here is sold, there are no advertising trackers, and there is no Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics on this site.

What this website records

Which pages you view on this site, and how far down each page you scroll.
Which sections of the page you actually saw — for example the games strip or the directions block.
When you tap to call, tap for directions, join the list, or send “I’m coming at…”.
Which language you chose, if you switched between English and Spanish.
Which links you followed off this site — only the name of the site you went to.
The site that sent you here, and whether your browser is a phone or a computer.
Your approximate location — country, state and city — worked out at the edge of our host’s network. Not a street address, and your IP address is not stored with it.
A random number that identifies this browser, kept in your browser’s own storage. It is not an advertising identifier, and it is never joined to your name or your phone number.

All of it is first-party: it is written to the club’s own database — the same one sweetsofnyc.com uses — on the club’s own hosting account. No copy is sent to another company, to an advertising network, or to a social platform.

“I’m coming at…”

If you send a heads-up, the site stores the day and time you picked, how many of you, your first name, your mobile number, your email address, the language of the page, and a one-way scrambled form of your IP address — not the address itself — used only to stop one machine sending dozens. There is no box for a message. It is a heads-up for the house, not a reservation, and it is not used to market to you. The house sees your first name and the last four digits of your number.

The list

If you join the list — with the form, or with the tick on “I’m coming at…” — your mobile number, email address, first name, birthday month and day if you gave them, and the language of the page go on the list of Sweets of NY. Short links

Links the club prints on flyers or cards pass through this site first, for example a link ending in /go/day-flyer-1. Each pass records the date, whether the device was a phone or a computer, the site that sent you, and a coarse location. It does not record who you are.

Switching measurement off

Add ?w3p=off to the end of any page address on this site and measurement stops for this browser and stays off. ?w3p=on reverses it. The site also honours Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track: if your browser sends either signal, nothing is created and nothing is sent.

Age

This site is intended for adults, 21 and over. The 21+ confirmation you tap is remembered in your browser’s own storage for 30 days and is not sent anywhere.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. The identifiers described above live in your browser’s own storage, and clearing your site data clears them.

Fonts

The lettering is loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser asks Google’s servers for the font files and Google sees that request. Nothing else on these pages reaches any other company.
